Bike to Work Day is back on Thursday, May 15!
On Bike to Work Day, thousands in the DC Metro area will leave their car at home and come together as a community to try biking. Join the fun and register for the Mosaic Bike to Work Day Pit Stop at Strawberry Park, hosted by Mosaic Green Commute. Where is my closest pit stop?
Right here at Mosaic! Join us at Strawberry Park in front of the Angelika Film Center from 4:00 – 6:30 PM on Thursday, May 15. Plus, participating bars and coffee shops around Mosaic will offer free giveaways and discounts for Bike & Brew!
What do I get for participating?
Each pit stop will have food, giveaways and more to celebrate Bike to Work Day. When you register for and join us at the Mosaic pit stop you can expect:
- Free food and beverages (while supplies last)
- Great giveaways to support your bike commute, plus the annual Bike to Work Day t-shirt
- Games, activities, freebies and more from local vendors and retailers Mosaic Green Commute partners with some of your favorite Mosaic brands to elevate your Bike to Work Day experience

What if I don’t own a bike?
Try Capital Bikeshare from one of two docking stations located at Mosaic! Single rides are available starting at $0.05 per minute. You can also purchase 24-hour passes and annual memberships.

How many people will take part?
Last year, as many as 18,500 people participated in Bike to Work Day across the region and 360 people visited the Mosaic pit stop. There’s a lot more fun to be had this year, so you don’t won’t want to miss Thursday, May 15, 2025!
